With a rich background in architecture and a keen eye for design innovation, Mike brings a dynamic blend of creativity and strategic thinking to the forefront of our firm. Mike is instrumental in pushing the boundaries of traditional design methodologies and incorporating innovative technologies to create spaces that resonate with modern sensibilities.

Mike is not just a hands-on designer and manager; he infuses a unique intensity into every project, remaining engaged from the initial concept design to the realization of the completed structure. His passion lies in not only conceiving design concepts but also in their development, effective communication, and the ability to garner consensus. Mike inspires everyone around him to strive for excellence, resulting in a career of timeless projects, repeat clients, and lifelong friendships.

Mike received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University in 1996 and began his own practice in 2007. Prior to launching Studio V, Mike led the entertainment and multifamily studio as a Partner at 5G Studio. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Board where he holds his architectural license in Texas along with other States across the country. Outside of the studio, Mike resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Tracy, where they are raising their three sons. Mike enjoys following his boys’ sports activities and traveling. His favorite destinations include the Tuscany region of Italy and the white sands along the 30A gulf coast.
